Prior to moving to Manhattan, Aleks performed in the original LA company of Wicked and in Deaf West's production of Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum. His breakout role was the title character in The Who’s "Tommy", where he starred opposite Tony Winner Alice Ripley and Grammy Nominee Nona Hendryx. That year, Aleks was recognized with the annual Ticketholder Award for Lead Male Performance in a Musical for his portrayal of Tommy Walker.

In 2020, Aleks was honored to work on The Prom movie for Netflix, where he danced alongside Meryl Streep. He was delighted to perform for President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama during an inaugural evening of Broadway at the White House.

His high rock tenor vocals can be enjoyed on various original cast albums and have lead him to roles ranging from Riff-Raff in The Rocky Horror Picture Show to Jesus in North Carolina Theaters production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Aleks currently studies acting with Cameron Watson.
